BRIEF & SOLUTION

The president of the LUU society wanted a short clip that would present interesting facts and figures about Romania, so that foreigners would know more about the country and the people who live in it.

A lot of the current promotional material on Romania involves film and photography; this led to the choice to work in a completely different style: vector infographic animation. The video was intentionally posted on YouTube and not on Vimeo in order to become as popular as possible.

The video went viral in Romania and several other countries; 4 days after the upload, it had accumulated 51.000 views, 2.400 likes and 150 comments. It was featured in 4 news articles in Romania, on the website visual.ly and now has more views than some official promotional campaign videos.
